Struggling….Sort Of.
I need to start posting here daily, I’m already slacking.
My whole “sponsor” thing is going great; I’m close to $7.00 per lb., which means, for every lb. I lose between now and 11.11.11, I will get about $7.00 to go towards my “Project: Sharky Claus” charity to buy food and toys for 20111 Xmas, so that is some huge motivation.
I started walking seriously at work, I walk 2 miles a day and have been getting an average of around 10,000 steps per day. I started doing the Virgin Health Mile sat work, which is also another great motivator because I can actually win money! The more steps I take, the more entries I get…woo hoo!
The struggling part is dealing with food. I’ve dropped a few lbs. and I’m exercising about 5 times a week now; it just seems like it’s all going to waste because I can’t control the food (and amount of food) that I eat.
I do really well until I get home and then it feels like I’m on vacation and we go out to eat, get cookies, snack cakes…all types of shit that is only killing me and all of the effort I’m putting into it.
If I can get the food under control, I will hit my goals in no time and drop weight….I know this because I’ve done it before. The food part has always been the hardest part for me…but I have to keep trying; for myself, my family and my charity.
